Sweet Emersyn came in for her first birthday photos. We decided against a cake smash to try something new! Em's mom brought in a beautiful wreath from her home and an adorable floral crown. Emersyn was nothing but sweet smiles all around. We had a great time chatting and taking these timeless portraits. Happy birthday, sweet girl!
Sweet little Leo is one years old! His mom, Amy, gave me a call and asked if I could come over yesterday to photograph some photos of Leo for his birthday party. I immediately jumped for joy! I'm very familiar with Leo and his sweet personality. He is always smiling and always up for snuggles.
Jennifer and I go way back to when we all lived in Florida. When we moved to Connecticut earlier this year, I was so surprised and excited to hear that she moved here as well to be closer to family. Of course, we had to get together for updated family photos! Her little ones, Claire and David have grown so big and it was awesome being able to see them again after such a long time. We went to Baur Park in Madison and strolled through the leaves that have fallen and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
Ian first reached out to me about his and Krista's wedding day, which took me by surprise since I normally hear from the bride. It was such a pleasant surprise, as I got to chat a little with both of them before we started planning photography for their big day. At the time they reached out, I was still living in Boston, and they live just south. It was such a nice coincidence, as they were having their wedding just minutes away from where I was moving to.
About a year ago, Chloe reached out to me about her fall wedding taking place here in Connecticut. Her fiance at the time was a member of the Coast Guard and they both lived in sunny California. After some time of getting to know each other, Chloe & Jason were excited to have me capture all the special moments of their wedding day. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful chapel at the Coast Guard Academy and their intimate reception dinner took place at the famous Tony D's in New London.
As some of you may know, back in early August, my family welcomed a new member into our family. Everyone, meet Archer! We are so in love and so thankful that he's apart of our family. Now that we've had some time to cuddle and get to know one another, it's time to get back into the studio. I look forward to getting back to working with you all! Reach out, say hello!
Paige & Alan's wedding day was not only beautiful, but unique. Their ceremony was full of surprises, as well as traditions, orchestrated by Paige's aunt who officiated. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Owenego Inn & Beach Club on a beautiful September afternoon. Their friends and family gathered around for a water front ceremony, and ended the evening at the beach club for dinner, drinks, and great times.
Kim & Nha's wedding was a day full of beautiful ceremonies and traditions celebrated by their closest friends and loved ones. They both spent many, many months carefully planning this day with their families and it turned out absolutely perfect! Their day started off with two traditional Vietnamese tea ceremonies in their homes, followed by a Catholic ceremony at the St. Lawrence O'Toole church, ending with a reception at The Riverview.
When I made the move to Connecticut, all the local wedding vendors were telling me about how wonderful The Lace Factory was, and how I would be very lucky to photograph a wedding there. Little did they know, Alli & Billy had asked me earlier in the year if I'd be interested in photographing their wedding that just so happened to be at The Lace Factory. I was ecstatic! Not only was I excited to spend the day and photographing this great couple, but I was also getting a chance to photograph this beautiful venue.
Linda and Dan's wedding day was full of tears, laughter, and love. It was a truly beautiful day that was celebrated by all of their closest family and friends. Originally planned to be much larger, Linda and Dan decided to go for a more intimate wedding located at a close friend's home in Charlestown, Rhode Island. They made a fantastic choice! Everything was perfect, from the ceremony to the portraits to the reception. Linda is an event planner; all her hard work and organization definitely shined through.
