Kaylon & Rob's Amelia Island, Kingsland Wedding

This past weekend I flew down to Florida to photography Kaylon and Rob's wedding. All the details were absolutely beautiful and well put together. I've known Rob for awhile, as he was stationed on the same submarine as my husband. It was so nice getting to meet Kaylon. She is truly one sweet woman!

The day started off on Amelia Island. The girls took the morning to style their hair and makeup, as Rob and his best man got ready at another location near by. When everyone finished their final touches, we headed over to Fort Clinch for their first look and portraits.

As I'm sure you all know, Hurricane Matthew hit the East Coast of the US a few weeks ago and really hit Amelia Island hard. We weren't able to get inside the fort without risking the bridal party taking a swim, so we stayed on the outside, which is equally beautiful. As we were taking the portraits, we noticed a tortoise walking by. He made sure to stop and say hi to everyone!

After all the portraits were finished, we headed to Kingsland for Kaylon and Rob's ceremony. Although short, their ceremony was super sweet! Kaylon arrived in a horse drawn carriage with her father. The wooden doors opened at the moment they started walking down the isle. After they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, it was time to start the party!

Kaylon and Rob's reception was absolute perfection. Everyone had a great time standing by the bon fire and eating delicious BBQ. The happy couple finished the night with a sparkler send off under the full moon.

Thank you, Kaylon and Rob, for having me apart of your beautiful wedding day. Congratulations!
